The Milwaukee Film Festival presents Capturing the Flag

The documentary Capturing the Flag will have its first of three screenings at the Milwaukee Film Festival on October 26 at 9:15pm. This film follows four friends who travel to Cumberland County, NC--posterchild for voter suppression in 2016--intent on proving that the big idea of American democracy can be defended by small acts of individual citizens.

After the viewing of the documentary, there will be a discussion featuring the subject of the film, Laverne Berry as well as the film's director, Anne de Mare.
